Greetings Kindred Spirits
Some days are harder than others.
In light of recent events, the potential for anxiety to creep up on us is present now more than ever.
The following are actions I take to bring myself back to center. 
They help me remember who I am, what I'm capable of and what I'm connected to. 
They help me harmonize my bodies to stand in my power.  
There is science and magic behind the simplest acts to help you feel like the limitless being that you are.

A Little Message from Spirit 

Before we get to the action steps, Spirit is asking that you remember everything you've done to arrive at this moment.  Your life is rich in experience and spirituality that no one can take from you.  Remember all that you are!

Secondly, these seeds that you've planted will begin to sprout and the resources within you will bloom when you are ready to take action.  A gentle reminder that worry blocks your power.  When worry and anxiety are the primary vibration emanating from you, it's a sign to get back to center so you can be present as an agent of powerful change. Using some or all of the steps below can help.

Breathwork is incredibly powerful:  

I woke up in a panic recently (bet you can guess which night last week that this happened) and box breathing calmed me down.   

Breathe in deeply 4 counts, hold 4 counts, exhale 4 counts. 

3 rounds usually does the trick. 

Earthing:  

When you are able, the simple act of going outside and putting your bare feet onto the ground literally connects you electronically to the earth and roots you into your spiritual power.  Doing breathwork while earthing is magical. Try it, it works

Affirmation/Anchoring Statement: 

Using words to identify yourself as a powerful and sentient being, literally reminds you who you really are.  

Say out loud, "My name is _______________, today is (day of week, date), I am located in (city, state) and the time is____________.  I am safe, I am capable of all that I put my mind to and I am protected by an army of angels."

54321 Method: 

List out loud the following things - this focuses your energy into gratitude and helps your mental body connect you to the present moment through your senses.

5 things you hear
4 things you see
3 things you can touch from where you’re sitting
2 things you can smell
1 thing you can taste

Plan an Activity: 

The act of taking out a piece of paper and writing out a detailed plan is incredibly grounding...it's uses your brain, body and heart energy.  It brings you into a space of creation and uses your spiritual energy to visualize a positive outcome.  Write out your favorite recipe, sketch an outfit you'd like to wear, plan a day trip...anything that comes to your mind first is meant for you to focus on.

 

Always remember you are capable of more than you could ever dream of.

If you need to take some space and time for yourself, take it.  You can do hard things when the time is right and you are fortified.
