Beach house view of the Hood Canal in Quilcene WA credit: Dani Tworek
As I walk into the hood canal, an extension of Puget Sound, the ocean is healing me. The sound of the waves, the rocks beneath my feet and the salt on my skin, I sink beneath the surface allowing the chill to envelope me in warmth.
I am grounded to the energy of my soul's purpose in this lifetime and feel the connection to Mother Earth in the only way that makes sense to me: when I am in the water.
It's always been this way for me, the ocean is my home and the healer that brings me back to center, to my true north.
It helps me remember who I am, what I've accomplished and what needs to be released. It cleanses me of the energy that keeps me from moving forward. Nothing stops the ocean and it nourishes me with the energy of consistent momentum, life and growth.
Erosion is natural and the beach is the respite from the white noise of the outer world. Back on shore, I feel whole again and I hear, "Leave it at the beach."
My higher self is giving me permission to forgive myself, anyone and any thing that is not aligned with love. The beach is constantly changing, allowing the ocean to bring it what it needs and to take from it what is no longer needed.
The ocean tears down the old structures and brings in the new, replenishing the world with all the resources it needs to not only survive, but to thrive.
Whenever you need to reset your energy, to move out of one phase to the next and embrace the unknown, go to the beach in your mind. Sink your feet into the sand and feel the warmth of the rocks and let it all go into the earth, where it's transmuted to power and recycled back into the universe as love, growth and understanding.
Then stand up and give thanks, onward!
There is nothing in your past that cannot be healed.
There is nothing in your life that isn't limitless by design.
Have an amazing week & month!
In love and infinite gratitude,
dani
